Thank you to our Advisory Council as we celebrate National Volunteer Week. “Volunteering is Empathy in Action” is this year’s theme and emphasizes that volunteering is only amplified when we can connect to who we are helping. For the past year our Advisory Council has been committed to volunteering monthly at The Hope Center’s Mobile Market in Milford Center. We also have changed our council meetings to feature a speaker from one of our local partner agencies. Many of our council members are the internal UW representative for their workplace campaigns. These folks advocate and help fundraise 365 days a year. We are grateful for their dedication and partnership.
