Discovery Riders New Facility to Open in November!
Discovery Riders Therapeutic Riding Center will move to a 26,500 square foot facility later this year. The space will feature a 16,000 heated indoor arena and a 16-stall, 8,100 square-foot stable situated on the 50-aqcre Hauck property. The new facility realized the dream of former Discovery Riders Executive Director, Linda Hauck, who passed away from cancer in February.
Discovery Riders is currently located at 5580 S. State Rt. 292 in Zanesfield. The groundbreaking for the Linda Laine Hauck Equestrian Center was held in early May at 1880 County Road 9.
The program is expected to reach as many as 500 children and adults a year and the goal is to create a sustainable future and grow the reach of Discovery Riders. (info provided by The Bellefontaine Examiner, Joel Mast)
