The Familywize Prescription Drug Discount Card saves uninsured residents an average of 27% on their medication.

More than 10,000 Union County claims made via United Way-distributed Familywize Prescription Drug Discount Cards

Hundreds of uninsured and underinsured Union County residents are using their Familywize Prescription Drug Discount Cards for critical savings on their medications.

Since these free cards were introduced by United Way and Familywize in 2007, residents have used them 10,481 times for $127,125 in discounts. That’s a 27% average savings for local families with no prescription coverage.

http://www.familywize.org/pdfs/DiscountCardEnglish.pdf) and print. Cards are also available at Kmart, Memorial Hospital, the Union County Health Department, and the United Way office. Card holders simply take them to any Union County pharmacy and present the card with a valid prescription. They always receive the discounted price or the pharmacy’s retail price, whichever is lower.
