Levels of Individual Giving
 The Pillar Society.
This is United Way of Union County’s Leadership Giving levels. Leadership givers are invited
to United Way events, receive the quarterly Contributor newsletter, and have their names published in various United
Way publications for recognition (unless they or company policy request that donors names remain anonymous).
- $2,500 and up—Platinum Pillar
- $1,000 and up—Gold Pillar
- $750 and up—Silver Pillar
- $500 and up– Bronze Pillar
Fair Share. This is a traditional measure of giving equaling one hour’s pay per month.
The Standard—$150. This was the average individual gift last year.
 Community Care Card Club—$100.
Again this year, all donors who pledge $100 or more will receive a Community Care Card with
discounts and offers from participating area businesses. Offers are good through December 2008 and you can
max out the card for more than $600!
United Way of Union County will mail all cards directly to donors, provided our office receives
a copy of every completed pledge form. We will distribute the cards to the donors when we send thank you
notes upon receipt of the pledges.
$50. Per the policy of the United Way of Union County Board of Trustees, any donor who wishes to designate
a pledge to a particular Member Agency, Impact Area, or other United Way in another community must pledge $50 or
more for the United Way to process that pledge.
