United Way funded programs and services touch the lives of more than 16,000 Union County
residents. But United Way does NOT provide direct services to individuals. United Way does NOT have financial assistance
available through its office. United Way United Way's Member Agencies and other funded partners are the experts in meeting the needs of families and individuals. The agencies
themselves determine eligibility and amount of aid given to those in need, usually in terms of government guidelines
or established policies that prevent people from taking advantage of the system. The United Way raises money for
the programs and services that can help the most people possible.
The United Way will always help those in need to find assistance or the right place to contact. We often refer
those seeking help to our Member Agencies
listed here (click here for a complete
list). Below is a list of the most common needs requested at United Way and a list of our Member Agencies and funded
partners to contact for assistance.
