We will be contacting all volunteers approximately 1-2 weeks prior to Care Day with a listing of available projects that are selected on a first-come, first-serve basis. Volunteers pick projects they feel comfortable working on and will be able to view job descriptions, locations, and necessary supplies/tools prior to signing up for a job. United Way provides general supplies needed to complete most projects, such as cleaning agents, rags, trash bags, gloves, paint, brushes, etc. Some projects may require use of tools we cannot provide, such as ladders, hedge trimmers, carpet cleaners, screwdrivers, hammers, squeegees, etc. These may be provided by the residents or the facility you are helping, though in some instances the use of personal tools may be needed to complete the projects.
