Lisr the names and contact information of all volunteers
from your group. Also, if your group of five or more would like to work together on a project, please let us know
in advance so that we may coordinate a project for you. Otherwise, volunteers will choose projects in smaller groups
of two or three the day of the event. United Way provides general supplies needed to complete most projects, such
as cleaning agents, rags, trash bags, gloves, paint, brushes, etc. Some projects may require use of tools we cannot
provide, such as ladders, hedge trimmers, carpet cleaners, screwdrivers, hammers, etc. These may be provided by
the residents or the facility you are helping, though in some instances the use of personal tools may be needed
to complete the projects. Volunteers pick projects they feel comfortable working on and will be able to view job
descriptions, locations, and necessary supplies/tools prior to signing up for a job. If you know the type of job
you'd like to work on, you may consider bringing your own tools so that you won't have to stop home on your way
to your project. United Way will provide breakfast, lunch, and t-shirts that day for all who participate. In addition,
one of the projects will be a drive to help stock the shelves at the Union County Personal Needs Pantry. Please
consider bringing a donation of bar soap, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, baby diapers, male and
female hygiene products, laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels, or toilet paper. Plan to join us at the Catholic
Community Center (1033 W. 5th Street, Marysville) at 7:45 a.m.
United Way will send reminders via e-mail to all
participants prior to the event with further details. For more information now, please contact us at 644-8381 or
e-mail Dave Bezusko.
