The Union County Family YMCA is an association of members who come together to build good
health, strong families, and a sense of belonging. As a YMCA member, you become part of a thriving community

The Union County Family YMCA gives members the tools they need to develop a healthy lifestyle,
to build self-confidence, and to meet the challenges of modern life. Relevant, well planned programs and
classes, new and improved facilities, plus dedicated staff members put our mission to work every day – strengthening

YMCA membership is more than access to programs and facilities. As a YMCA member, your
ideas and energy help set a course for the future. In partnership with staff, YMCA members set policy, develop
programs and raise funds that the YMCA can serve our expanding community for decades to come. The Union County
Family YMCA is committed to making membership and program participation available to families and individuals,
regardless of their ability to pay full fees.
Fast Facts:
- Estimate that 6,000 individuals will be served by YMCA programs this year, including more
than 300 via United Way funding.
- The YMCA never turns anyone away because of their inability to pay. United Way provides
funding for participants to specific YMCA programs.
