The Personal Needs Pantry is located behind Trinity Lutheran Church on Oak Street in Marysville.

What it does:
Serves the community by helping residents meet basic needs not met by food stamps.  The Pantry may be accessed once a month upon referral from any local service provider, including social service agencies, schools, churches, doctors, etc.  The following items are stocked:  toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, facial tissues, toilet paper, feminine needs, paper towels, bleach, dish detergent, laundry soap, baby diapers, baby wipes, trash bags, band-aids, light bulbs, cotton balls, q-tips, hair brushes, combs, and cleaning supplies.

Fast Facts: 

  • Serves about 4,000 families a year.
  • It is staffed entirely by volunteers.

Volunteers stock the shelves at the Personal Needs Pantry.  The Pantry stocks mostly items that cannot be purchased with food stamps.
