It can help pay for prescription drugs up to $100 per month; mileage for chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy up to $400 per year; supplies including Depends, Ensure, colostomy care supplies up to $75 per month; prosthesis at $75; wigs at $100; and various other requests. Works in conjunction with Memorial Hospital of Union County and the American Cancer Society on CARE (Cancer Assistance, Resources and Education) to provide all aspects of care for patients, including transporation, support groups, and financial assistance.  Fast Facts:  The rest of its revenue come from grateful residents who make memorial donations to the organization. Serves about 200 Union County residents each year. 75% of the clients they serve are elderly on fixed incomes. Is NOT affiliated with the American Cancer Society and receives no funds from the annual Relay for Life fundraiser held each May in Marysville.
